Construction Process

1. Full Room Delivered

The steel base, roof and side walls are all factory made to order prior to delivery and are delivered to you a day or so prior to the build day.

The build team can then get started early without having to make their way from the depot through the rush hour, saving valuable time.

2. Steel Base Installation

The steel base is designed to structurally support the building and provide ground insulation. It will be pre surveyed to arrive in kit form, readymade, to fit on to the existing site. We make as little disruption as possible to fit the concrete pad stones, that sit under the steel legs in to the ground.

We then fix the main steel ring beam around the outside before fixing in the steel floor joists and insulation.

The steel base is usually fitted in a couple of hours as opposed to weeks of time, stress and mess with old fashioned methods.

3. Side Walls and Roof Installation

Side walls can be glazed, or brickwork or solid panels. You can specify your own design at the quotation stage to make sure you get the exact look and feel you’re going for.

Roofs, being structurally made of aluminium, can be glazed in glass or multi-chambered polycarbonate.

The side walls and roof are fitted once the steel base is in place and are fully reinforced coming in a variety of coloured finishes whether it be brickwork walls or pvcu framework.

4. A Complete New Room In Just 1 Or 2 Days

The size of your new room and site conditions will determine exactly how long it takes to build. Although almost every build is complete within 2 days.

Typically, within a day or two of us starting the build – you will be living in your new room.
